Productronica Munich: BJ935/BJ939 will be introduced
Hesse & Knipps introduces their new Bondjet models BJ935 and BJ939, which will set a new benchmark for the process speed as well as precision and low maintenance requirements for the process of aluminum wire, copper and High Current Ribbon (HCRtm....). These benchmarks are mostly been set by gantry kinematics with linear motors with working areas up to 350 mm x 500 mm which will fulfill current and future requirements on precision and repeatability. Reduced-mass bondhead with integrated, non-destructive pull-test, an active cutting system, E-Box for optical set-up assistance for cutter, wire guide and wedge tool as well as the process integrated quality control PiQC for non destructive quality tests and monitoring of each bond contribute to a 30% increased productivity unlike its predecessor.
